Unfortunately, I didn't run into this bike until after I'd purchased the 6.5. The Detour 4.0 is not quite as nicely appointed as the 6.5 or flagship Deluxe: the Deluxe has disc brakes, otherwise the differences between the 4.0 and the next steps are basically minor parts upgrades, and racks and fender on the Deluxe.
