Everybody seems to say neutral or even bad things about this bike, but it's been what I expected. This was my first fixed gear before I put together my dream bike. I don't think there is a better gateway bike than the Langster. A lot of companies have been jumping on the bandwagon lately, but Specialized did it with the quality you expect from them. The city-specific designs even appeal to me, strangely enough.

To be honest, I've never ridden this bike, but my boyfriend has the same thing with full Rival components. He loves it and hasn't had any problems. It seems a little crazy to me to spend all that extra money on Ultegra when Rival is such good stuff by SRAM.
