1. What kind of people are on MyByk?

People of all kinds are on MyByk. You don't even need to own a bike to have fun here.

  • People who want to meet other bike riders
  • Riders who want to make smart purchasing decisions

  • Cyclists connecting their friends with other friends
  • Coworkers or professionals interested in networking
  • Anyone who loves bikes!

2. How do I use MyByk?

Using MyByk is easy as signing up and making friends. Sign up now and start meeting new people away. You'll be surprised where it takes you.

  • Sign Up and create a MyByk profile
  • Invite others to join your Friends network OR Search the site for friends on MyByk
  • View the connections your bike creates between your friends and others
  • Network with your friends' friends or meet completely new people

3. Is MyByk free?

Yes! Everything you see on MyByk is free. The entire site is currently supported by advertising and sponsorship. In the future we may add paid services, but all the functionality you now have on MyByk will always remain free.

4. How do I add information to my profile?

Adding information to your profile is fun and easy. No programming skills are required. Just follow these simple steps:

  • Log In to MyByk
  • Click “MyByk” in the upper navigation menu
  • Click the “Bio”, “Bike”, “Wear”, “Blogs” or “Media” tab in the lower navigation menu
  • Click on relevant sections or buttons to add information
  • That's it! Your additions are saved automatically
5. Where can I change my personal details?

Changing your personal details is done in your profile. It's a lot like adding information to your profile:

  • Log In to MyByk
  • Click “MyByk” in the upper navigation menu
  • Click the “Bio” or “Bike”, “Wear”, “Blogs” tabs
  • Click on relevant sections or buttons to change details
  • That's it! Your changes are saved automatically
6. How do I report identity theft, cyberbullying or copyright violation?

MyByk takes all reports it receives very seriously. Please use the Contact page to submit your report. Include details like web addresses/URLs, member names and times/dates. We will start implementing a solution right away.

  
7. Can I change my email address and/or password?

Yes. Changing your email address or password is possible. No information will be lost if you do. Just follow these simple steps:

  • Log In to MyByk
  • Go to the Login box in the right column
  • Click “Change Email” or “Change Password”
  • Enter your new email address or password
  • Click the “Change” button to submit your change
  • After confirmation your changes will be saved
8. I can't create an account – what's wrong?

A few different things can help when you can't create an account. One of these usually provides the solution:

  • Delete your browser's cookies and temporary internet files, close all browsers, try signing up again
  • Configure your email and spam programs to allow email from @mybyk.com
  • Check to make sure you didn't add any spaces at the end of your email address or verification code
  • If none of the above solved your issue, use our Contact page to let us know about it
9. How can I change my default photo?

Changing your default photo is done in your profile. It's part of adding information to your Media tab:

  • Log In to MyByk
  • Click “MyByk” in the upper navigation menu
  • Click the “Media” tab in the lower navigation menu
  • Click on the “Thumbnail Photo” button to select your default photo
  • After confirmation your change will be saved
10. Can you remove an impostor brand profile?

Yes. MyByk works hard to make sure the brands it hosts are authentic. Use our Contact page to let us know about an impostor brand profile. We will start taking action to remove it immediately.

11. How do I report an error?

Reporting an error is helpful and fast. Our Contact page lets you report an error quickly.. Please include all relevant details of the error received.
